Covid-19 air purifier scams going round Preston businesses

Businesses in Preston are being warned of a new scam going round.

Preston City Council want local businesses to be aware of the new scam, which involves a fake letter from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The letter is about Covid-19 air purifiers and asks for personal information from the business.

This is a scam and people are warned to stay alert. Any scams can be reported to Action Fraud.
