As government plans to vaccinate all UK adults by July come steadily into place, Preston and South Ribble have seen a rise in the amount of adults who have had the vaccine.
Figures are updated weekly by Public Health England showing the number of Covid vaccinations. With all figures being presented by date of vaccination as recorded on the National Immunisation Management Service (NIMS) database.
Below is the full list of adults (over 16), who have received the vaccine by area by February 21. Figures for the total amount of people vaccinated in the region is shown in brackets.

Broughton, Fulwood and Cadley & College are amongst the areas with the highest percentage of vaccines accepted with nearly half the residents receiving their first doses.
While less than a quarter of the community have been vaccinated in areas such as St Georges, St Matthews, Town Centre and Plungington.

Preston’s infection rate has remained in the top 10 in England since February, and most recently ranked ninth with an infection rate of 178.9 cases per 100,000 people.
