Police issue alert after suspicious activity in Much Hoole

South Ribble Police are appealing for the identity of a male captured on a CCTV image.

Police posted on Facebook that at around 3.30am on Wednesday (24 March) there was suspicious activity in the Green Hey area of Much Hoole.

They are keen to identify the male in the still image from CCTV

He was in company with a second male walking the streets and seen entering the driveway of a house on Green Hey .

Police are asking if anyone else in this area has CCTV or ring doorbell footage please check this and pass any info to 273@lancashire.police.uk

Also to ensure valuables are locked away out of sight and that vehicles and front doors are locked and secure.

Faraday bags or boxes can also be used to block signals from car keys and prevent vehicles being stolen.

Patrols have been increased in the area and enquiries are on-going and South Ribble Police will be posting further updates on their In the Know service.
