A Preston gym are helping raise money for Lancashire MIND whilst helping boost people’s fitness levels during the third lockdown with a set of challenges.
AKActive understand that the Covid-19 pandemic has been isolating for so many, and want to support the people of Preston to get healthy, whilst supporting a worthy charity.
AKActive, ‘Lancashire’s best mental health supporting gym’, said the aim is to give people inspiration to get out into the world, be accountable, boost mental health and become closer to the people of Lancashire in our connected group.
The challenges will begin on Monday, 8 February and will run for six weeks.
Each week there will be a new themed fun challenge that gets you moving and out into Preston.
You can complete the challenge with your household, or with one other person ourdoors.

You can stay accountable and supported by those across Lancashire in the gym’s private group.
A donation of ยฃ15 can be made which will directly benefit Lancashire Mind, or the challenge can be completed free of charge.
AKActive are hoping 500 people will join the challenge.
