The second weekend of the national lockdown has seen another weekend of busy retail activity.
Queues have been forming at Fulwood Central retail park as well as at Deepdale Shopping Park on Saturday (14 November).
Despite the government urging people to stay at home and only visit shops for essential-items, both B&M Bargains and Aldi saw big queues at the Fulwood retail park off Eastway.

There were also queues to enter and exit the car park going back into Oliver’s Place and Eastway.
Preston’s coronavirus infection rate remains in the top 30 in England with 464.4 cases per 100,000 people.
The last four days have seen the city regularly top the charts of the most new Covid-19 infections in Lancashire with more than 100 new cases each day.

The government has said a version of the regional tier restrictions will come back into force once the current lockdown restrictions end on 2 December. Preston, and Lancashire, were in tier-3, the highest level of restrictions, before the full national lockdown in England came into force on 5 November.
