You can also treat yourself to an alcoholic tipple to enjoy with it, as the ban on the sale of takeaway alcohol has been overturned (so long as it’s ordered in advance).
All you have to do is order a takeaway or drinks delivery from your favourite local restaurant, bar or producer and know you’re helping to support them through another tough month in what’s already been a difficult year.
If you don’t want to lose your local, please use it if you’re in a position to.
You can help spread the word by sharing a picture of your takeaway on InYourArea and on social media with the hashtag #OrderLocal. Make sure you tag in @blogpreston across Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
Blog Preston is making use of the free search tool where you can find businesses offering takeaway and delivery services near you.
