Weather warning issued by Met Office for heavy rain from Thursday for Preston and South Ribble

Preston and South Ribble are set to see some bad weather at the end of the week.

The MET office have issued a yellow weather warning from midday on Thursday until midnight on Friday, 30 October, warning of heavy rain.

There is a possible risk of flooding throughout Lancashire when the bad weather hits so residents should take the necessary precautions.

Rain and flooding may also lead to travel disruption.

A yellow weather warning also means there may be power cuts and spray and flooding could lead to dangerous driving conditions.
