French Connection in Miller Arcade will be closing its doors for good after trading for 20 years in Preston.
The UK retailer has stores across the country selling fashion clothing, accessories and homeware.
A member of staff at the city centre store told Blog Preston: “French Connection have been a great company to work for and it’s a shame that they will no longer have a store in Preston.
“We have so many regular customers who have become like family. I know the team will miss seeing them each week.”
The company was founded in the early 1970s by Stephen Marks, who is chairman and chief executive of the business.
The company secured cash funding of £15million in July after the company was struggling with reduced sales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
French Connection has been contacted for comment.
