Reports of travel delays following crash on Ribbleton Lane

A Peugeot and an Iveco van have been involved in a crash on Ribbleton Lane this morning (July 8).

Social media reports say that traffic is queueing in the area while police are dealing with the incident.

Police believe the Peugeot and white Iveco van crashed into each other, leading the Peugeot to then collide with a shop front.

The white Iveco van was driven from the scene and later recovered.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called around 10.45am today to reports of a collision on Ribbleton Lane in Preston.

“No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.”
