Preston parents and carers are being asked to complete a short survey about a service for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
The survey will help Lancashire County Council to plan its summer activities provided through the Lancashire Break Time Service – while making sure social distancing measures are in place to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The measures will include:
County Councillor Phillippa Williamson, cabinet member for children, young people and schools, said: “It is vital we continue to offer our Lancashire Break Time summer service, which provides fun activities for children with special educational needs and disabilities, despite CoViD-19.
“These activities allow parents and carers the important opportunity to take a short break from their caring role.
”This year due to coronavirus, the way the activities are offered and delivered will be changed to meet Government guidance.

“This short survey will allow us to plan our summer activities effectively to ensure everyone who wants to use them can access them easily and safely.
“It will also help us to ensure social distancing measures are in place to help prevent the spread of coronavirus in our community.”
To complete the survey, visit the Lancashire County Council website. The closing date is Friday 17 July.
