As social distancing measures are being reviewed here’s a look at how the number of new coronavirus infections in Preston, South Ribble and Chorley looks.
AdvertisementBlog Preston has been reporting daily figures on the number of deaths confirmed each day by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals with coronavirus as well as the number of new confirmed Covid-19 cases.
Many of our readers have asked to be able to see the historic data so we’ve gone back to mid-May so you can see how the number of cases compares.
It shows a clear peak was reached on Saturday 23 May with 21 confirmed cases, with a smaller second peak on Monday 6 June with 12 confirmed cases.
Mousing over the chart below allows you to see the daily total for Preston and South Ribble for each day. We only began tracking Chorley cases daily on 23 May at the request of readers in the borough.
