A socially distanced activity is available for Hoghton residents during the Covid-19 lockdown.
AdvertisementPaying tribute to key workers and the NHS this year’s Hoghton scarecrow event has a coronavirus theme.
More than 25 homes have taken place across Coupe Green and Hoghton.
All entry fees and donations collected from the scarecrow trail will go towards purchasing hand cream for NHS staff in Preston and South Ribble.

Gregson Green chairperson Jacqui Gibson said: “I’m sure the trail will help to brighten up daily walks for residents as well as giving something back to NHS workers.
“It’s so great to see all the creativity and effort that’s gone in to the scarecrows, I’m so proud of the community spirit.”

The scarecrow trail is on display until Tuesday 26 May and there’s an online vote via the Gregson Green website for the best display.
