Two arrests and £385,000 of cannabis seized in Broadgate raids

Two people have been arrested after police smashed open a cannabis factory in Broadgate.

Officers from the Preston Neighbourhood Policing team executed three simultaneous warrants at three addresses on Osbourne Street on Wednesday.

Cannabis with an estimated £385,000 was seized during the raid.

Two people were arrested on suspicion of drugs cultivation and immigration offences and were taken to custody.

A Preston Police spokesman said: “We will continue to disrupt criminality and make sure that these drugs do not reach our streets.

“Just remember no matter what kind of door you have, our big red key fits any key hole..”
