A trio of Preston Slimming World club leaders helped to raise £3,635.39 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation by taking part in the Preston 10k.
Husband-and-wife Gavin and Caroline Preston and Lou Holliday were joined by more than 20 group members, who also completed the run and raised money for the charity.
Gavin said: “People think of Slimming World as being all about food but it’s not. It’s about good nutrition as part of a healthy lifestyle, which includes exercise. It’s far easier to maintain goal weight if you are active.
“A number of our club members are regular runners and signed up to join us. Others jogged and walked the course. Our plan is to do more walks and runs to support Rosemere Cancer Foundation.”
