Seven dogs seized by police in Preston after ‘significant concerns for welfare’

Police have seized seven dogs after a raid in the city.

Concerns were raised about the welfare of the animals at an address in Preston.

Preston Police, with the Lancashire Police Dog Unit, and the RSPCA, visited the address.

No details have been given about the property.

The Police Dog Unit tweeted ‘significant concerns for the welfare of animals’ had been raised.

The rescue of the dogs took place during Friday August 23.
