How the new apartment block in Grimshaw Street will look

Plans for new apartment block located within the Stoneygate development area have been approved.

Once completed, the development in Grimshaw Street, will provide 28 new homes.

The four-storey apartment block will include one studio apartment, six one-bedroom apartments and 21 two-bedroom apartments.

It has been designed to blend into the area and complement the heritage buildings on the street.

Currently the land is currently being used as a car park, but planning consultants Smith and Love say the site has much more potential.

Situated next to Preston Seventh Day Adventist Church, it is one of 20 sites identified in the Stoneygate Masterplan as being ripe for development.
