Firefighters are at a former pub to the North of Preston.
A fire has broken out at the old Boars Head on the A6 at Barton. during Thursday (18 July).
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to Blog Preston: “We were called just before 1.30pm.
“We have four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform at the scene.”
Preston Police are on the scene. They have closed the road from the junction with Station Lane and Kepps Lane. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The road reopened during the early hours of Friday (19 July).
