Sunshine to continue into Thursday – but clouds gather over the weekend

The glorious sunshine which has drenched Preston this week is set to continue into Thursday – but clouds will gather over the weekend.

Here’s what the coming days have in store:

Thursday

There will be some cloud in the early morning but these should have lifted by 8am wihen temperatures will be around 10 degrees.

This will rise to 18 degrees with some cloud between 3pm and 4pm. The sun will continue to be bright until 8pm when clouds will gather again, and temperatures will start to drop off.

Friday

Friday will have light cloud cover for most of the day with a gentle breeze. There’s a slight chance of some showers. The sun will peep through at 1pm when temperatures will reach the day’s high of 15 degrees.

Saturday

The clouds will continue into Saturday with light rain in the morning. Temperatures will remain around 14 degrees throughout the day.

Sunday

Sunday will be mostly dry with some cloud and a gentle breeze. Early evening will be sunnier with temperatures hitting 16 degrees at 5pm.

Monday

The sunny spells will start to reappear on Monday with a light cloud cover. From 9am through to sunset at 9.15 pm, expect sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with temperatures rising to 18 degrees.

Tuesday

The weather will continue to improve throughout the day, with more sunny intervals and highs of 19 degrees.
