Cannabis farm uncovered after fire at house in Deepdale

A cannabis farm has been uncovered during a house fire in Deepdale.

Four fire crews were sent to the property in Suffolk Road during Sunday (19 May).

Calls came in around 8.30am of a fire at the house.

An eye-witness next door told Blog Preston he and his family had to flee their home due to the flames.

A police spokeswoman said: “A cannabis set up was discovered on the first floor and is under investigation. It doesn’t look like anyone has been arrested at the moment.”

There was extensive fire damage to the property.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident reference 413 of 19 May.
