A yellow weather warning, the lowest level, has been issued for throughout Wednesday (13 March) morning and until around 3pm that afternoon.

The Met office says ‘strong northwesterly winds’ are expected during the day.

Gusts of up to 50mph will buffer the city.

The warning states there will probably be some bus and train services affected and there is the potential for power outages.
