Smoke seen coming from KFC at Preston Docks

A fire has broken out a fast-food restaurant at Preston Docks.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service has four crews at KFC in Port Way.

Crews were called around 8.30pm on Tuesday (26 March).

Smoke was seen coming from the building and customers have been evacuated.

A spokesman for the fire service told Blog Preston: “Four fire engines from Preston, Bamber Bridge and Penwortham were called at 20:18. When firefighters arrived at the scene they found a fire involving a cooking range and the restaurant was moderately smoke logged. They used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.”
