Traffic remains slow on the M6 to the south of Preston after a crash.
A lane is closed on the stretch between Junction 30 and Junction 29, just after where the M61 slip road is.
The crash took place shortly after 9am on Sunday (2 December).
Delays of up to 30 minutes are being experienced and Highways England is advising the lane is to remain closed until 1.30pm.
A spokesman for Highways England said: “Due to the amount of damage to the central reservation, we are having to cone out a lane three closure so repairs can be carried out.”
Repair works are ongoing at scene, with 1 lane closed. There is now just over 5 and a half miles of slow moving traffic on approach. pic.twitter.com/JTavTKO9Jr
