A newly refurbished Preston pub has been targeted by vandals.

Less than a week after it had an extensive revamp the Hesketh Arms at the corner of New Hall Lane and Blackpool Road in Fishwick was counting the cost.

Windows along the side of the pub were smashed as well as damage to the back door.

The Marston’s-owned and operated pub has now had the windows replaced after the incident in the early hours of Monday (17 December).

On December 11 it reopened with a new look, beer garden and a new food menu.
