A popular restaurant in Preston Guild Hall is to close its doors on Sunday, only to be replaced by a brand new restaurant for the city.
Victorias has been operating at the front of Preston’s popular entertainment complex, owned by entrepreneur Simon Rigby.
A new steak restaurant, owned by a national operator with strong local ties, will soon take its place. Mr Rigby remained tight-lipped about the exact restaurant details.

The new operators are taking a long lease and launching a new concept.
Simon Rigby told Blog Preston: “Yes Vittorias Preston is closing but only to make way for something very exciting for Preston.
“They are national operators with strong local ties and were drawn to our flagship unit. As this is going to be so good for Preston and The Guild Hall I have agreed the let.”
Rigby said that his core business is being a landlord.
He continued: “Due to the work we have done on The Guild Hall including operating the units ourselves as The Guild Hall was so run down you know us as operators but in fact our core business is being a landlord.”
