Woman rescued from her car in Blackpool Road

Blackpool Road/ Thorntrees Ave junction

A woman was rescued from her car by firefighters following a collision in Blackpool Road.


Emergency services were called to the junction with Thorntrees Road at 3.40pm, following reports of an accident involving two cars.

Two fire engines and their crews from Preston attended the scene alongside police and paramedics.

The woman was cut free from her vehicle and was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
