A gin and ale bar in Friargate has finally announced when it is to open.
Plans for Plau were first mooted in 2014 and since then it has expanded in scope.
Originally due to be a small craft gin bar the team behind it have taken on all four floors of the building and it will include a dedicated dining room and four cask ales and eight keg ales.
Taking its name from the Plough Inn which used to stand on the site its been lovingly restored, complete with a gin bar centred around the well the team discovered.
The bar had been due to open in September but further building work delayed the opening.
It will now open to the public on Friday 16 November (2018).
Plau is from the Meat and Drink group who own a number of establishments across the city.
