Ringway delays ease as two-car crash is cleared

Lunchtime motorists in Preston saw delays as wet driving conditions led to a crash at a busy Preston junction.

Ringway had delays as two cars collided at the Ribbleton Lane turn.

Preston Police were at the scene directing traffic following the crash just after 12noon on Saturday (8 September).

There were delays through until around 1.30pm as the vehicles were cleared from the scene, with delays back down Ringway, into Ribbleton Lane, Church Street and also into Queen Street.

No one is thought to have been hurt in the crash.

Elsewhere there’s large amounts of standing water due to the consistent rainfall.
