Rain in Preston

Make sure you grab your coats and umbrellas on the way out of the door this week.

Yes, unfortunately the clouds are back and the rain is set to make an appearance.

Forecasters are saying that rain is expected on-and-off throughout the week.

Monday (6 August)

Morning – Mist and low cloud will be present this morning, with a grey sky covering Preston.

Afternoon – The clouds will try to lift, with some bright spells attempting to break through. Highs of 20 degrees.

Evening – A cloudy evening follows a cloudy day. Temperatures slowly start to fall from 6pm.

Tuesday (7 August)

Morning – A grey start to the day with clouds covering Preston’s sky.

Afternoon – A slightly cooler day than recently experienced, reaching highs of 17 degrees. Skies becoming very overcast with darker clouds predicted to appear.

Evening – Sunny intervals are expected from 6pm, preparing the way for a cloudy night.

Wednesday (8 August)

Morning – Light showers are predicted from 10am however the sunshine still attempts to break through.

Afternoon – Light rain predicted all the way through the afternoon, with highs of 17 degrees.

Evening – Thankfully, the rain eases with sunny intervals paving the way for a dry, but cloudy night.

Thursday (9 August)

Morning – A cloudy start to the day, with the chance of rainfall from 10am.

Afternoon – Forecasters predict the rain to stop, transforming into a sunny afternoon.

Evening – Sunny intervals into the evening, and the rain is expected to hold off.

Friday (10 August)

Morning – The last working day is welcomed by rain from 7am. Prepare to take your brollies to work as heavy rainfall appears from 10am.

Afternoon – Heavy rain continues late into the day, reaching highs of 16 degrees.

Evening – The rain eases slightly however light showers will remain persistent into the night.

Saturday (11 August) 

Morning – Not the best of starts to the beloved weekend. A dark day is predicted with heavy rainfall from 10am.

Afternoon – Unfortunately not sun is expected today. A grey sky is accomponied by light showers throughout the afternoon.

Evening – Light rainfall follows into the evening and finally stops around 10pm, however the clouds remain.

Sunday (12 August)

Morning – The sun tries to break through during the morning, and fortunately the rain is expected to hold off.

Afternoon – A dry afternoon for the most part, however a slight chance of rain around 4pm could see the need of an umbrella.

Evening – Lights showers to follow through into the evening to mark the end of a very grey week.
