Police are hunting for Anthony Smith

Police are on the hunt for a prison absconder who is convicted of drug offences.


Anthony Smith, 38, failed to return to HMP Kirkham on Saturday (11 August) evening and has not been seen since.

Police say he was serving a sentence for drug offences and has links to Merseyside and Lytham St Annes area.

Smith is described as five ft 10ins tall with blue eyes and blonde hair.

He has a scar on his right eyebrow and a tattoo of ‘Tyson’ on his right arm and boxing gloves on his left.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he may be should call police on 101 quoting log number 1457 of August 11.
