Roadworks causing delays on Blackpool Road will remain for over a month

New roadworks on Blackpool Road, in Lea, are causing delays for motorists.

Four-way traffic lights have been put in place whilst United Utilities carry out sewer work.

These new traffic signals were installed on Monday (30 July) and will remain for nearly five weeks, until Friday 7 September.

The roadworks are located at the junction of Blackpool Road to 796.

United Utilities are undertaking an open cut evacuation to install a new section of the sewer.
