Drivers using roads in and around Preston’s university campus are being warned about a series of closures.
AdvertisementMajor roadworks are taking place on the Adelphi roundabout ahead of the building of the University of Central Lancashire’s new student centre.
10 weeks of roadworks are taking place on various roads to reroute ground utility services beneath the roundabout, the second stage of work.

“We’d encourage road users to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys during this period, particularly over the bank holiday weekend at the end of August. The teams are doing everything they can to ensure the work is completed as efficiently as possible with minimal inconvenience.”
