Signs have gone up along a stretch of a busy Preston road warning of disruption.

Preston City Council is preparing to prune the trees along a stretch of Eastway.

The work is due to take place from Monday 30 April from 9.30am to 3.30pm and take around three days.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place during these times.

Branches are to be cleared around signs and lamppost along the road from the Asda roundabout to Anderton Way.

The work will take place in both directions and the road is not expected to be closed at any point.
