Chelsi McGuire, 18, told Blog Preston of how the arson left her feeling “petrified, scared, and upset” following the incident at 2am on Saturday (7 April).

She added in a Facebook post that the fire was ‘absolutely massive and there was smoke everywhere’.

She said: “What they did was horrible. The pictures don’t show the damage it’s done to us emotionally and mentally.

“Every time there’s a noise outside, I jump. The postman posted our mail this morning and I nearly had a panic attack.
