Driver sought after girl knocked off bike in Deepdale hit and run

Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Deepdale.


A 10-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle on Saturday (10 March) around 7.20pm.

The girl was riding a bike at the junction of Crompton Street and Ribbleton Lane.

The car is understood to be a black Vauxhall Astra.

Police said the girl was taken to Royal Preston Hospital and treated for leg injuries which are not thought to be serious.
