Preston dressed up for Valentine’s Day

Those walking up Fishergate today will have done well to miss a special Valentine’s Day treat.

There are hearts on the pavement and heart-shaped balloons tied up in tribute to the day.

They were also spotted in Theatre Street which serves as a clue to the brains (hearts?) behind the idea.

It’s all been set up by No10 Preston – the aparthotel on Theatre Street.

Max Williams, at No10 Preston, said: “Opening No.10 Preston, the first truly luxurious Aparthotel in Preston was a risk, but thanks to the amazing support we have had from the businesses and people of Preston we needn’t of worried.

“Making the great people of Preston smile on Valentine’s Day is our way of saying thank you with all our hearts!”

The 22-room hotel opened in Preston in April 2017 with the owners putting £250,000 into the renovations.
