Preston has seen an intense downpour of snow during Sunday evening.
A Met Office weather warning of snow and ice remains in force for the city.
Roads have been turned white as the snow falls and icy conditions are expected across the city.
Lancashire Police have issued a warning to drivers about the conditions and the M65 has been closed between Junctions 3 to 5 due to the snowfall
Please take care this evening whilst on the roads. Snow has fallen in many parts of the county making some roads impassable.
