A Preston shop was broken into during the early hours of Christmas Eve.

Crystals convenience store in Ripon Street, close to the Garstang Road end, was targeted.

The raid took place around 12.30am on Sunday (24 December) in the Plungington area.

A nearby property owner said they heard ‘two bangs like someone ram raiding’.
