A Preston shop was broken into during the early hours of Christmas Eve.
AdvertisementCrystals convenience store in Ripon Street, close to the Garstang Road end, was targeted.
The raid took place around 12.30am on Sunday (24 December) in the Plungington area.
A nearby property owner said they heard ‘two bangs like someone ram raiding’.
Preston Police have been making door-to-door enquiries.

A police spokesman said: “The shop was burgled by forcing entry to a door.
“Cash and cigarettes were stolen and substantive damage caused inside.”
Police have also issued a warning after a number of burglaries.
