A former kids clothing shop looks set to become a cafe in the St Matthews area.
MMA Architectural Design have tabled plans to convert the building on behalf of Mr S Ahmed.
The Ribbleton Lane cafe would open from 12noon to 11pm seven-days-a-week.
It’s not known what type of food it would serve at this stage.
MMA Architectural Design write: “The principal target market for this proposal is to be the local community and existing customers of the nearby convenience stores, a majority of who would welcome the proposal.”
Four new jobs would be created by the cafe opening.

The building also faces into into Wilbraham Street and provides access for loading and unloading and an alternative entrance.
MMA state: “It is considered that the investment in the premises and the resulting aesthetic gains together contribute an important service to the local residents in that area.”
Full plans for the cafe can be found on the Preston City Council website and comments on the plans can be left there.
