Work has begun to set up for a large-scale beer hall in the centre of Preston.

The city’s Flag Market is being transformed into a Bavarian wonderland.

Oktoberfest is taking over the space with a giant beer tent.

Oompah bands will ring out across the city centre while the steins are filled.

A large fence is being put up around the event as it is ticketed with the cheapest ticket starting at £11 for a Friday night standing ticket.
