Woman hurt in Skeffington Road collision

A woman has been hurt after a collision in the St Matthews area.

Preston Police shut Skeffington Road for around an hour following the incident.

A black car and the female pedestrian were involved in the crash at around 12noon on Saturday (2 September).

It took place at the Maitland Street junction.

The extent of the woman’s injuries are not known at this stage.

Police are asking for witnesses to the collision. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote log number 0717.
