Heavy rain overnight has seen the city’s Ribble Link close to bursting its banks.
The Ashton-on-Ribble section of the Lancaster Canal is full to the brim.
Torrential rain has battered the city overnight and Monday (11 September) is set to see a mixture of sunshine and showers continue.

The forecast for the rest of the week looks as though the rain will remain until Friday (15 September).
A weather warning has been issued by the Met Office of strong winds from 8pm on Tuesday (12 September) to 10am on Wednesday (13 September).
Preston and Lancashire are within the warning area with gusts of 55-60mph expected.
The Met Office is warning of travel disruption during this period.
