Preston’s biggest bonfire and fireworks display is back in the city.
Last year’s Preston Grasshoppers fireworks night was cancelled due to the construction work for the club’s new pitch.
But the Fulwood club says with all the work done the night’s sky across the city will be lit up by a bigger and better display than ever before.
General manager Richard Ellis said: “We were really disappointed to have to cancel the event last year due to the installation of our state of the art artificial grass pitch, however, we’re pleased to announce the return of one of our flagship events that provides a great night of entertainment for all.
“As well as the traditional bonfire display and fairground rides, we are back this year with our biggest fireworks bonanza ever, and we will also be putting on extra entertainment throughout the evening. The bar will be open with great food available also, and I’d highly recommend purchasing your tickets online to avoid disappointment.”

The Hoppers display is taking place on Friday 3 November with gates opening at 6pm.
The bonfire is lit at 7pm and fireworks begin at 8pm.
Hoppers regularly has to turn people away when they reach capacity so advance booking is advised through Skiddle. Individual ticket are £5.50 and a family ticket (two adults, two children) is £16.50.
Grasshoppers advise those attending to use public transport as there is very limited car parking in the area.
