Emergency services called to multi-vehicle collision in Liverpool Road

Emergency services have been called to the scene of two separate incidents involving five vehicles.
Police say they were called to two separate incidents at around 5.20pm today (August 18) in Liverpool New Road at Much Hoole.
Reports indicate the incident occurred outside Embleys Nurseries and Restaurant.
An ambulance and air ambulance are at the scene.
South Ribble Police have warned that there will be congestion while officers and the ambulance service deal with the incident.
