With a lot of events taking place in Preston and Lancashire this weekend all eyes are on the weather.

And there’s some good news – the forecast for the weekend is looking good.

Saturday is going to be dry and often rather cloudy but has sunny spells into the afternoon. Light winds will ensure it feels pleasant in the sunshine.

Here’s an hour by hour breakdown:

7am – Same as 6am
8am – Plenty of sunshine as temperatures rise to 14 degrees

10pm – 12midnight – Clouding over and cooling off to 14 degrees

The pollen count is very high on Saturday, so bad news for hayfever sufferers.

6am – 14 degrees and overcast
