A view from above shows how a major new housing development in the north of Preston is progressing.
D’urton Manor is to see 300 new homes built just off Eastway in Fulwood.
Story Homes say a number of families have begun moving into the development with the first batch of homes being finished.
Sales manager Clare Wilson said: “This is our flagship site in Preston and we are proud to see the development come to life.
“We have recently opened three beautiful show homes to really showcase a range of our homes and the high specification that comes as standard. Families are looking for something a bit extra special and our renowned street scene and quality of homes stand out from the crowd – these photos really show off our development.
“All this can be enjoyed with the added advantage of a location that puts shopping, entertainment and access to road and rail links almost on your doorstep.”
The aerial photos show the development stretching on the former farmland and adjoining towards D’urton Lane which is to be closed to traffic permanently from the Broughton end – access will only be via Eastway.
Changes to D’urton Lane are linked to the construction of the new Broughton Bypass due to be finished in August.
