A fallen tree has blocked a busy road in Penwortham as Storm Doris sweeps across Lancashire.
The tree is blocking Hill Road South and the clear up is currently in progress.
Winds of up to 70-80mph have been forecast across Lancashire by the Met Office with an amber weather warning in place.
The chief forecaster for the Met Office said: “There is still some uncertainty about the track of storm Doris, but increasing confidence that there will be widespread disruption across parts of England and Wales.”

The weather has also seen disruption on the train line between London Euston and Preston.
Chief operating officer for Network Rail’s London North Western route Mark Killick said: “In light of the anticipated poor weather caused by Storm Doris, temporary 50mph speed restrictions will be imposed tomorrow across sections of the West Coast route, the Chiltern line and the West Midlands.
“This may lead to delays on some services. The purpose of these speed limits is safety. Keeping passengers and railway staff safe is, as always, our top priority.
“Weather conditions will be continually monitored and if they change we will reevaluate our response.
“We’re deploying extra Network Rail staff to deal with any issues such as fallen trees, and overhead line issues with the aim of keeping people on the move.”
