The sign being put in place at the Harris Pic: Benjamin Wareing
The long awaited, and at times controversial art installation of a giant neon sign brandishing the phrase: “EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT” has finally been placed on the front on Harris Museum and Art Gallery, facing the flag market.
The installation, a globally respected work from artist Martin Creed, is set to last for five months over the front of Harris Museum as planning applications were lodged last November. The installation is temporary.

The sign was originally displayed in Hackney, London.
The sign was originally supposed to be erected on 27 January, one week from now, however work seems to have been faster than expected – perhaps to align with today’s Presidential Inauguration of Donald J Trump in America.

The full sign, visible on the Harris Museum, is due to be lit up at night.
