Callum Dewhirst missing: Teenager posting on Facebook as police appeal to trace him

A teenager has gone missing from Preston and could be in Blackpool.

17-year-old Callum Dowie Dewhirst lives in Preston, but is said to have links in Blackpool and surrounding areas.

Preston Police shared the initial appeal on their Twitter account. The appeals also said they are concerned for the teenager’s welfare.

However, Callum seems to have noticed the missing persons appeal, and has responded on Facebook with:

His reference in the post is to a mugshot issued by Fylde Police.

Callum is described as white, tall and of a slim build, with short, curly and dark brown hair and has dark eyes.
