Rolling road closures are organised for the now annual event in Preston’s religious calendar.

Food and flowers are handed out to bystanders as the parade makes its way up Skeffington Road.

The meeting point is the Masjid-E-Aqsa mosque in Fishwick view and the route takes around two hours to complete, ending at the Masjid-E-Noor mosque in Noor Street, Deepdale.
