A driver is being sought after a schoolgirl was knocked over in Deepdale.

The 15-year-old girl was walking home from school on Wednesday (30 November).

As she was heading across a zebra crossing in Ribbleton Lane, near to the junction with Geoffrey Street, a blue car collided with her.

The car was coming from the direction of Skeffington Road around 3.20pm.

The girl was knocked to the floor and left with injuries to her shoulder and leg. The female driver did not stop at the scene.
